     SB 37 Protest

TBD Evening  |  The Utah State Capitol Rotunda  |  Take Action Salt Lake

  • The SB 37 bill aimed to redirect local property tax revenues, traditionally allocated directly to public schools, into the state's general fund.

  • On 03/24/25, Governor Spencer Cox vetoed SB37, citing concerns over public trust and the message it would send regarding the state's commitment to public education.

  • The Utah Legislature wants to override the Governor's veto and, once again, put Utah's education system in jeopardy.

  • Once the special session is scheduled, we'll let you know the date and time.

  • PROTECT UTAH'S EDUCATION SYSTEM!  TAKE ACTION SALT LAKE!
